MARY'S HOUSE

Mary's House is a Catholic Worker house in Birmingham, AL. offering hospitality for families, two weekly peace vigils, monthly Mass, quarterly newsletter, MAGNIFICAT, and twice yearly retreats - Advent & Lent.

 

In the context of the Catholic Worker "Aims & Means" we offer hospitality to families, work for peace, and try to address the causes of violence in our society. We try to be grounded in a discipline of prayer, and to have as our first commitment the building up of the community of faith in practicing Christ's teaching.
